Rockfall Protection Mesh

Maccaferri DT Mesh is a proven rockfall mitigation solution and a key component of the MacRO natural hazard protection system. Used globally for more than 50 years, the mesh is manufactured from double-twisted hexagonal woven steel wire and commonly installed as a drapery system to prevent rocks and debris from falling onto roads, rail corridors, and other critical infrastructure. The double-twist construction allows the mesh to absorb impact forces while preventing unraveling, even if individual wires are damaged.

Manufactured from high-quality heavily galvanised steel wire, DT Mesh is designed for long-term durability and corrosion resistance. For harsher environments or projects requiring an extended design life, an additional protective polymer coating can also be applied. Produced in Maccaferri facilities worldwide, selected DT Mesh products comply with CPR–Construction Product Regulation 305/2011 and are manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified systems.
