Flood defence strategies in the Netherlands, particularly in the village of Beesel along the Meuse are being revolutionised. In the face of climate change and increasing flood risks, traditional methods are being replaced by the efficient and environmentally friendly solution of Bentofix® bentonite mats. This not only strengthens dikes, but also significantly reduces the environmental impact.
