Our materials comply with recognised international material and design codes, and we are available to support designers and fabricators with guidance on technical properties, design codes, and software.
Both Mateenbar and Barchip offer resilient and sustainable lower-carbon solutions in concrete structures. These materials provide non-corrodible concrete replacing steel, coated steel, and stainless-steel rebar and fibres in many concrete applications in both harsh environments as well as everyday applications for structural concrete. The materials are non-conductive, non-magnetic and for Mateenbar, have a coefficient of thermal conductivity like concrete which substantially improves the energy efficiency of building structures and avoids thermal energy loss from steel reinforcement.
