Efficient Underground Stormwater Storage

RainSmart Ellipse is a modular underground stormwater management system designed for infiltration, detention, attenuation, and rainwater harvesting applications. Manufactured from recycled polypropylene, the lightweight yet high-strength modules provide more than 95% void space, allowing significantly greater water storage capacity compared to traditional gravel-based systems. The modular design enables flexible tank sizing and shaping to suit a wide range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects while minimising excavation, transport costs, and site disruption. 

The Ellipse system is engineered for both landscaped and trafficable installations, distributing loads evenly while maintaining easy linear access for inspection and maintenance. Supplied in flat-pack kit form, the modules are quick to assemble and install without the need for heavy machinery, making them a practical and cost-effective solution for modern water-sensitive urban design. Applications include soak pits, rainwater reuse systems, road drainage, sports field drainage, bioretention basins, and underground attenuation tanks that help reduce downstream flooding and support groundwater recharge.
